I think that you could use a coat pattern tthat fits you and just use a lightweight cottn/polyester and no need for much sha[ping either. I often use same patterns that I know fit me well but then change the materialso it looks like a differnt garment,its a great way to save ££ on patterns tooo!Hope this helps
